Where did you get your canvas made? Also what paint you use to paint outside?

I saw one lady on RUclips prop up her mattress with soup cans during the day time in order to vent the underside of her mattress. I don't know if that solved it for good, but it seemed to work for a time.

Good gifts for you two would be a shore charger for the batteries, and a honda generator. Or new batteries :) You both are amazing for never giving up your joys and braving an unconventional student life. I love all of your videos!

Sorry you had the mold problem. Started watching this hoping to get tips on how to prevent this frm happening in our truck camper. Pausing to say the volume goes from normal levels to suddenly blasting my eardrums. Would love if the volume didn't do that....

The best thing is to buy a usb fan and every morning i put a small piece under mattress to hold it up and then leave the fan running under mattress too keep it dry and then remove it back when I am sleeping in it

very cool. much cheaper than a coir bed cushion. so with your solution, you never got mold on the underside of the mattress after this?

I just picked up one of these. How did you fix the trashed canvas on the pop up? Also, what kind of paint did you use? Did you sand it down first?

I have a 2001 2500C10.6E on a 2007 RAM 3500 dually and love it. The storage is terrific and you have shown me a couple of ideas that I might incorporate. The only quibble about your walk-thru is that the bed is NOT a full queen, but an RV queen. If you are under 6'2" you won't really notice. Once you hit that height, though, you become the same length as the bed. It is the only feature of the Northern Lites series that I prefer, but have learned to curl when I sleep. I travelled solo across Canada for 30,000 km in 2014 in a 9.6 (biggest difference is wet bath vs dry bath) and am thrilled with the ease of using the toile compared to the smaller unit.

In real cold never fill any tank more than 2/3 full. If it does happen to freeze you will be ok. A full tank will crack.

Ours works it just looks scary, we want to re-do it. We're wondering was the crappy wood board of switches original? Also what kind of paint did you use? Thanks!

Wrong truck to hold that camper GM vehicles cause nothing but headaches get a Ford or Toyota

The only down fall on the whole set up is that the truck is not rated to haul that much of a payload. Bigfoot recommends a 1 ton dualy for that camper. After 12 years of travels in ours we broke down this week and ordered a new f-350 dualy and a new bigfoot 10-4

Interesting idea but I sure hope you have unlimited data plan on your phones. Otherwise that will be a humungus bill at the end of the month for the data used on your cell/mobile phone. Please tripple check with the telecom provider your using. Also if your at a site sometimes these camp sites have free wifi. You could just connect a router to the wifi spot and then have your laptop connect to that.
